Monday
I did a companionship study through a video call with Jake Moss, then later we went to a park and threw a frisbee (much farther than 6 feet away), then after we went on a drive up AF canyon in the Hondyssey (the fam's honda odyssey). He sat in the very back, so we were still 6 feet apart don't worry. Then that night, my boy Tait came over, he recently returned after 2 years from England. He brought me some Mtn Dew, and we played some ping pong. Also 6 feet apart from each other.
Tuesday
Uhhhh honestly don't remember much here, pretty boring. Did some video call companionship studies, personal studies, planned with Jake Moss and Riley Gunther to try and further the missionary work here, in our stake. I was able to show my family some of the *limited* souvenirs I brought home. I was also able to talk with both sets of my grandparents which was lovely!
Wednesday
My friend Ethan Knowlton swung by, he had just gotten home from Panama, so we talked from 6 feet apart, it was fun to see him and speak Spanish to him! I was released by my Stake President over video call that evening. It was a very strange feeling to remove my name tag, I didn't expect it to be as tough as it was. In case you need some clarification with the way that I've chosen to move forward, it will look like this. I will wait for a reassignment, which will most likely be stateside. I could serve there for a good amount of time, maybe 6 months, we don't know. After, if possible, I will be reassigned back to Uruguay, however only if possible. After all this, I will still have my original release date, even though for now I will be awaiting a new mission call. If you have questions just text me or something haha.
Thursday and after
Pretty much just staggering around wondering where my name tag is. I've been okay though, it's sad that I'm no longer a missionary, but myself and all my missionary buddies have agreed it's better for us to be released. A bit easier is all.
Well If you want to talk more, feel free to message me. I'm not really planning on sending anymore weekly emails because quite frankly that's just my normal life haha. Feel free to get in touch with me to talk or hang out after all this quarantine stuff blows over. For now we'll just hope I receive my new assignment sooner than later!

- So if you don't know, I still do not have either of my suitcases... they're still in Uruguay haha sooooo yeah. My mission president told us that they're trying very hard to figure this all out, buuuuut they have no idea how or when they'll be able to get our luggage to us. (Us as in the 100 or so missionaries without luggage haha)
- My friend Abbie made me a cake, with the Uruguayan Sun design on top, it was super impressive and delicious!
- I made empanadas (helped make) with Melisa and her boyfriend Josue (insert accent over e)
- My boy Matt brought me Little Caesars and root beer, 2 things I missed, it was the most fulfilling meal of all time
Signing off for the last time (for now)
