Skipped another winter jaja get pranked North American fools

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Well it's your main village man coming at you from the bottom of South America. A formal apology for my lack of effort on pdays for the past few months, we'll see maybe pdays are still less busy down here as I remember them so I might email a bit more, we shall see. Before getting into it I have arrived safely back home here in Uruguay and am a very happy fella. Shoutout to everybody who made this possible. I love you and will be the wetnurse for each of your children free of charge.

So I'll recap a little bit of last week since my pday wasn't until today. We finished up getting ready for all 3 of us to move out of the apartment, as my companions were able to go to their originally assigned areas. Those last 10 days of being in that area... wow I have never said more goodbyes in my whole life. Heavy on the heart #vulnerable moment. Very bittersweet but I guess that's expected when you serve somewhere for nearly 8 months. I love that place and am very pleased it was my only area in Georgia. Stone Mountain Spanish ward for life. I'll be back someday. I'm grateful for élder Terry and élder Murphy. It was a fun 10 days. I've left behind a lot of friends. Investigators, members, missionaries. Kay, who works at Walmart, love her. It was a bittersweet departure but there's nowhere in the world I'd rather be than here.

I finally arrived here on Saturday morning after a solid 11ish hours of flying. The girl next to me on the 9 hour flight seemed to think it was ok to accidentally have her head resting on my arm when she fell asleep, unbelievable. Top 10 unepic moments as a missionary. Another top 10 moment is when we got to the airport in Uruguay, got tested again and come to find out the élder that sat next to me had covid. Good thing I denied his offer to finish his contaminated meal. Somehow dodged that bullet.

We have been in quarantine ever since, 3 meals a day, we are treated too well. It is the hostel for travellers here on temple grounds. We've been given assignments that we're able to do in our quarantine to keep us busy. Tomorrow we will test again to see if we can participate in the transfers on Monday. We have been told we will all be put with native uruguayos as companionships. Another prayer answered. God is so good!!

For Christmas Eve, we walked over to have dinner with our President and his family in their home. As well as the missionaries that work in the office. A breath of fresh air on the way over. We read Luke 2 and listened to Christmas hymns. Later we opened presents they had prepared for us with some snacks and some Light the World merch. Then we went back to our apartment and sat on our window sill to watch fireworks. They were very exciting.

Today we are enjoying our pday and Christmas! I hope y'all are doing well. I love you all and wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!

P.S. I was hoping to pick right back where I left off, kissing dudes, but we'll see what covid prevents me from doing.

P.P.S I'm in a trio and with one of my companions we are doing a nightly podcast jaja let me know if you want them

Hello fellow children of the corn

 Well to explain last week

We had a zone pday and a district pday in the same day
I went bald again
Said goodbye to some investigators, had some nice embraces. I love a lot of people here
Played pickup ball with some random d00ds, I dunked on all 3 of those fools
Baldified the rest of the gentlemen
Last district council, nice but sad
Surprised hna Linford for her birthday, absolute prank. Scared her good
We had a cute lil Christmas slumber party with the boys, drank some nog and made a gingerbread man

Well to explain this past week, it's basically been a weird fever dream. I leave on Friday to Uruguay and I am 1000% excited and ready. On Monday we had our last pday as a district. Very fun, but very sad. People I will love and miss very much.
Tried to say some more goodbyes to friends and members #goodbyesarenotepic
Had transfers, I was supposed to live with the APs until the 18th but I am currently with élder Murphy and élder Terry. Their future companions have covid so they are waiting out the quarantine with me. I know them both already and we have had a lot of fun together. They both play the guitar and sing me to sleep, I'm very blessed.
Also my area got dissolved because they didn't expect me to still be here so now we are nomads

I love you reader
