Zoom zoom go my fingers

We said some goodbyes for my companion who was finishing his mission, gave me a flashback to Georgia when I said a thousand goodbyes. We visted a very precious man who I love with all my heart. We both enjoy ice cream. Somebody kidnapped one of our companions and took him home safely #rip. We ate cold chicken and potatoes 2 days in a row because we didn't have heating capabilities. We painted an epic house. I accidentally shook someone's hand and cried afterwards because it felt so wrong. We can't use bags anymore because of robbings and so one day I carried like 40 lbs of books on my back cause I'm super cool. Taught a lesson with some dude in the back absolutely vibing to some tunes. I have a headache so excuse the short letter if I die, my bad honestly. We stay busy with teaching English and the Gospel. My brain has passed away I will no longer write any words sorry. Besides I love you goodbye.

Love,

Bye bye Lil Sebastian

 Good

We had an epic family home evening with the next door neighbors. We hear them arguing so we put on some big boy pants and absolutely targeted them with a message from the Liahona that talked about peace in the home. Savage move I know but it turned out very well so we knew we had been guided by the Spirit. Also I don't remember what the Liahona is called in English my bad I just realized it's not the same.

Right now our mission has lots of vision to work for a second temple here in Uruguay which has been really amazing and humbling and exciting and motivating to think about.

Sometimes people speak English to me and I threaten to teach them to become fluent.

Shout out my brother Jason for baptizing me, appreciate that.

A sweet member from Colombia made us harepas, she's incredible. I cried upon eating them to salten the masa. I realized that when I was in Georgia, I missed uruguayos. Being here I am happy to meet people from countries and cultures I fell in love with while serving in Georgia #grateful. There is another member from Peru who I love her as well.

We have had a couple tours of the temple which are amazing experiences. There are 2 sister missionaries that run the tours through video call. It's amazing the witness the spiritual power the temple has, even through video call. I saw it calm a marriage, as well as comfort a lonely old lady. Everyone vote for a second temple here thanks.

We had church in person which was amazing! The timing worked out well that all 3 of us got to talk. One of my comps last Sundays, and my first in person. We walked home a recent convert of 2 years, the most precious man alive. He tells us he loves us and closes the statement in the name of Jesus.

I gave into all this rave about bread and milk and tried it out, top 10 most epic meals of all time
This area is a killing ground for frogs. I witness too many deaths each day, it's unbearable.
I stepped in dog poop for the first time in a while, worst day of my mission for sure what in the world honestly
Some of the houses here are designed as castles so I don't know what's up with that
Our recent convert flipped me off but it's okay he was just trying to count with his fingers and started with the wrong one jaja

Good day to all and a day to all good

 Howdy, I am writing this.

This week I shared peanut butter and chickfila sauce to my companions. They were not as impressed as I'd hoped they'd be but yolo anyways. One of my companions randomly saw his bishop who was on a road trip so now I'm waiting around to see if I run into Bishop Price, I think it's pretty likely. We had some lovely walks this week, we now walk at least 400 steps a day, absolutely insane. We seemed to have very strong spiritual experiences every day of the week so that is an epic moment, I did the gangnam style so hard. We started teaching English this week it will be interesting to see the challenges that might bring but I fear no man I will teach this whole country English if that's what it takes. We played some soccer in the backyard of Ricardo and Amanda, if there was a seniors league that man would lead the league in every stat column. I put my pants in the freezer, very refreshing experience, highly recommend. We had a beautiful baptismal service in the backyard of a member for 2 of the most amazing people I have ever met, I wish I had more time to talk about their examples that they are to me. Ricardo always says he is Moroni and will kill the evil scum of the earth and save the kids from drugs. He's a little scary when he waves his knife but I trust him with my life. His sister Amanda keeps everything under control. It's been raining today which is always the opposite of a bruh moment, yeehaw.

I love you goodbye
Love, love

Hello again ladies and gentlemen

Greetings to all. I just had my pday so not a whole ton to report on! Just some random things that come to my mind.

In my farewell talk I said that I had heard that here in Uruguay the houses have names instead of numbers. Well when I was here my first time I did not see that. I can now testify to you all that I am not a liar. The names vary from "Dream of Love" to "The Barbie," so it has been fun to see those names!

If you are interested in these numbers, it is my best estimate. We probably spend around a full 30 minutes to an hour every day waiting to cross the big highway. Another interesting number is that we think we probably walk around 3 hours a day because everything is far away jaja.

We met a funny young single adult member whose PlayStation controllers are named 1 Nephi and 2 Nephi so that was a pretty epic laugh.

We visited a less active who was going through a tough situation, there were 2 other guys living at her place. 1 was a man who is in a super bad physical situation and the other was familiar with us. Everyone there except us was loopy on some crazy stuff and we witnessed verbal abuse and threats and then said a prayer and witnessed compliments and sweet talk. Let's just say it was one of the most interesting experiences of my life.

I love you reader.

Love, me

- Going for a swim (analyzing and planning the pool baptism)

- Preaching to an immense multitude of several hundred (not pictured as the frame of the photo cuts them off, covid restrictions followed)

- Me and my friends we are teaching! They are a pair of siblings, and the brother is insane for the soccer team here that I like so we get along well. He sings me the anthems and chants the cheers and randomly screams the team name at people walking past. I love them both jaja!

- Here in Parque del Plata I have decided that it resembles Northern California and Southern California. Desert and also pine trees which is interesting. Then there are tropical trees, plants, and flowers. Also marshes here and there. We've got everything folks!

Yo where am I bro

Greetings to all. I am finally out of quarantine and in my area! The city is called Parque del Plata which directly translated means "élder Jerman is epic" so that's kinda quirky. It's a coast city and a few times I've seen glimpses of the beaches.

Before getting here I spent my last few days in quarantine. Got another nose test again and boy those are refreshing I tell ya. While here, thanks to the amazing cooks I've been able to have 2 of my favorite Uruguayan dishes, milanesa and fideos con tuco! Super delicious. One of my companions gave almost all 9 of us haircuts which was pretty entertaining. If you were wondering the podcast I was doing turned out well. An incredible 6 episode season, hit ms up if you want the google drive haha.

We had sacrament meeting with the president and family. Very nice. Élder Chynoweth and I have been able to build a very wholesome relationship with our beloved cooks, we help serve every meal haha. We all heart attacked the kitchen one night for them to find nice notes in the morning.

During the quarantine, I finished the Book of Mormon again and the famous Ricciardi Letter. The Ricciardi Letter should be a movie, it is definitely something that can help change your mission for the better. The Book of Mormon is the most epic written text of all time. My testimony of it has come slowly and builds every day. Keep reading and keep praying folks.

FINALLY got out of quarantine and made it to my area.
• We have a very lovely man who was recently converted that ends each of his voice messages in the name of Jesus.
• Sometimes we're just walking the streets and the sun is setting and I just breathe in and realize where I am and remember how good God is.
• I have very obviously not been exposed to the sun in a minute, I got burned the first day very nice.
• Before December I had had 4 companions in my whole mission. In the month of December I have had 6 companions. I'm on my 3rd trio. My companions are both from the country. No better way to become uruguayo than to live with 2 natives to the country. Very content I am.
• A man that was familiar with the church wished he lived in Utah because he really likes the idea of polygamy so if you ever see that guy in Utah be careful ladies.
• Also my toenail on my pinkie toe fell off not sure what happened there #yolo
• There is a very busy route that separates our house and the church (where we do most our sfuff) and in the past few days I bet we've piled up more than an hour waiting to cross.

Cheerio from your boy

From your boy, boy
