This has been a pretty good week. My companionship is really finding its stride. It's very good because our president is putting trust in my companionship that he hasn't done before with his secretaries so that has been epic.
Elder Zac Jerman accepted a call to serve as a full time missionary in the Uruguay, Montevideo Mission. He spent 5 weeks at the Mexico MTC (CCM) learning Spanish and then will spend the rest of the 2 years serving and teaching the people in Uruguay. UPDATE - Covid 19 brought him home for 5 weeks then he was reassigned to the Georgia, Atlanta North Mission. He served in Lilburn, Georgia for 8 months then got to fly back to Uruguay in December. WOW! "It's A Great Day, in Uruguay"!

This place is so epic why is she doing that though
We went to downtown downtown Montevideo 2 early mornings in a row and one of them there was a bald lady on the sidewalk that stared through our window and laughed at us for like a full hour I couldn't help but join and at the same time be scared for my life. Really great lady.
We have been doing a lot of traveling to take missionaries to medical consultations, and a lot of putting the house in order in the office. We continue to work with both of our words to try and revive the work. We are finding teaching and soon will be baptizing.
I'm feeling more settled in and comfortable with everything in the office and also the city, I feel like I'm attached now haha. I've gotten some dope souvenirs lately not gonna lie. I love being here, and I love the people. I love the mission and I love my Lord Jesus Christ. Part of me wants to stay here forever and become a full blown citizen. I've gotten to the point with the language and the knowledge of the culture that unless I tell people they don't know I'm not from here. I am very happy :)
Also we are coming home from a big travel right now from the center of the country, we cleaned 3 houses in 3 cities. Next week I'll send pics because this week I have to send pictures of last pday where we went to the most famous/touristy part of Uruguay, Punta del Este. We played soccer on the beach, enjoyed the pretty views and the nice city, and explored the rock shore. Wholesome moment of walking down a cute street with the wind blowing and an epic ice cream.
All my love for all of you
Love Elder Jerman
