Throwback

This week we had a conference with the whole mission, we got like 2.5 hours of sleep haha. This week President had me and another office missionary take some sister missionaries to an area of them that is really far away with their zone leaders and it was my very first area of the mission! It was very special and almost strange because of how odd it was that I was there after thinking I would never be back. Reunions of hugs and tears. Anyways I gotta go how have you been pretty good nice that is great I am happy for you so I guess I will talk to you next week everyone do not forget also I am scared about writing words with apostrophes because I do not know where it is on the keyboard but anywho I love

Has anybody ever wondered

So basically this week I got body slammed into a mop bucket and shattered it and then I drove a lot and also this week a lady shouted at us calling us Mormons and we realized she was stuck on top of her roof and on drugs and we tried to stop her from climbing down but she somehow scaled down her house and safely got off the roof it was the most incredible thing I've ever witnessed.

As I was studying Come Follow Me, in D+C 63, I pondered about what I was learning about the connection between faith and signs. I loved learning that signs are not shown to those that seek them in order to obtain faith, rather they follow those that believe. Signs come as a result of faith, not the other way around. Receive these signs produces powerful works, they strengthen us and they aid us in our earthly progression.

There have even been times on my mission where I have wished to receive a sign to support what I already knew to be true. I had to learn that I didn't need any of that to strengthen my testimony, I just had to keep doing what I´ve been doing my whole mission... learn, mature, grow, progress.

To update what we have been doing
We moved the mission storage from a church to an empty house.
This week Presidente used me as a photographer when he and his wife took a missionary to some sights before that missionary went home.
We continue with the theme of scheduling all the vacunes for the mission.
Today we got vaccined in an epic beach city. We climbed up a hill.
A couple famous soccer players live in our building and sometimes we see their clothes in the washing place and my comp accidentally stole a sock.

Happy Father's Day to my dad who I love!!!

Love, Elder Jerman

Good week to all and to all a good week

Hey everyone! Firstly I would like to ask a favor from all of you. Please pray for my companion´s mom! Andrea López. Right now she is with Covid and is in a tough state. We need lots of prayers so that she can start to improve please!! Thank you!!

This week was great! We are doing well and I love living! I enjoy laughing a lot and feeling the Spirit.

2 days ago I realized I didn't have my money card and it turns out that 2 weeks ago I left it in a shopping mall but no worries today we are gonna pick it up.

This morning as we were cleaning the house, I had another interesting spiritual realization. Must be something with cleaning and me, must be a connection there. So I thought that cleaning is kind of like the repentance process. As we were cleaning out the shelves, we were finding things from a missionary that left 3 or 4 weeks ago! Sometimes there's stuff in our life that is connected to people who are no longer in our life and we gotta throw that stuff out. At times the thought came into my head, "How did we allow this to get this dirty?" But it's important to not punish ourselves as we are cleaning out the dirty, the important thing is that we are cleaning! Some things might be gross but we gotta make sure we've got the right cleaning materials. Scriptures, prayer, patience. Once we clean we feel a lot better and it should be something we love to do! The longer we wait, the more stuff accumulates and the process is longer and harder. That's why it's important to clean every day. Repentance is a daily process because getting dirty is a daily process, it's natural. We just gotta always keep ourselves on top so we don't find month old kiwis and blood from the meat in the freezer that leaked onto my raspberries that I ate without realizing. Let's not eat bloody raspberries. Let's repent.

Love you all!

Some highlights of this week

Our dear friend Estela was baptized. She has such a strong testimony and her family member helped her a lot!

Sorry I not have time

Hey everyone sorry I never know what to say because by the time I get to the end of the week my brain isn't working too well. But what yes is that tomorrow our dear friend Estela gets baptized so that is wonderful. It is fun and a blessing to be able to witness such amazing miracles! It is very satisfying to be working so hard and seeing some great stuff. I enjoy laughing all day and being accompanied by the Spirit. One thing we have been doing this week besides working in the area is coordinating all the vaccines for covid for all the missionaries! I love making life long friends on the mission even though it is so hard to say goodbye. I've promised free living to like half the Elders after the mission let's prep the house everyone. Gangnam style every day of the year!!!!!!!!!!
