Bro I am happy and filled with mate

Monday
So we went shopping with hardly any money and I am proud to report I now have exactly $0.00 in my account that's freaking epic. We dropped off a care package to our quarantined hermanas, poor fellas. This day I got my replacement thermos so every single day this week I have just drunken gallons of mate. And then there was happiness.

Tuesday
Had a video call with a member who was a master of Spanglish. I had to access the other half of my brain to keep up. By the end of it I had become a being of pure power. I radiated knowledge. For one moment, for one beautiful moment I was the most epic mortal on earth. Yolo am I right guys. Then we went over to visit a less active girl, nice guy. Drinking mate and driving you know how it goes.

Wednesday
So we had a lesson at 8... in the morning jaja. At our favorite lavadero. I actually don't know what it's called in English, lavadero right? That's not meant to flex my other language I just don't remember what it is in English right now but probably because my brain is functioning at 2% capacity the other 98% is philosophizing with itself. Anyways it was good. We had dinner at an English class investigator's house. Élder Sutton made ceviche again jaja.

Thursday
Another 8 o'clock appointment, with our other friend. We had zoom district council which was fun. For lunch I created a protein shake that was basically pumpkin, peanut butter, protein mix, and spinach. Pretty good. Then we poured it into a pie dish with raw tortillas as a crust and now we are recognized by the culinary world as geniuses. This day we did service for a member which was super fun. She took lots of pictures and even made tiktoks of us jaja. Then pizza with some other members which pranked my weight loss progress. Then had a charla on the way home in the car because your boys be busy.

Friday
Another 8 o'clock appointment at the laundry thing. Oh wait it's called laundrymat now I remember. Anyways then we had an English class where we basically just tutored the lady's kids and helped with there homework but hey I enjoyed it. It took me a second to figure out how to explain 4th grade math at a 4th grade level of understanding but she was super smart I was lowkey really proud of her. Then we had a lil miracle. We were trying to find one family, but thought we might have had the wrong address, and instead had their friends address who told us not to pass by for a couple weeks. We knocked and turns out they live together so that was convenient.

Saturday
Well let's see we found this illiterate guy and now we're gonna teach him English #yolo.

Sunday
Filled with various lessons and zoom calls. Then we went back to that one house where we found that family. So family A that lives in the basement said we could do something in a couple weeks. And family B was who were looking for. So we had a dinner with family B, A wasn't there. It was fun, we talked with the daughters and they thought it was funny that we couldn't go to parties but if you ask me every day is a party so get pranked. The mom tried to roast me but I roasted her right back and now we are best friends. But then we got pranked and got fed like 5 pounds of pure carbs so my #weighlossjourney got pranked again. Sorry there's no better word besides prank.

Bullet Beans
• So for whatever reason my comp has taken up a sudden interest in trying to grow mango seeds so now we have random mango seed baggies all around the house and we accidentally baked one in the oven but don't worry about that. Peaches coming soon.
• So because I am such a powerful thinker and have a big brain I rinsed out a soap dispenser and put toothpaste in it but now the toothpaste is Fresh Breeze flavored even though I tried washing it out. Still epic though.
• Élder Sutton can drive now which means I can focus on my mate. Thanks Élder, very cool.
• We are starting to teach this guy from Maryland, and we are doing a couple video calls with the missionaries who taught them in Maryland. Turns out one of those guys trained my good buddy Garrett Johnson, whose twin brother Renton is my ZL and lives in the building next to us. Also both the Maryland fellas are in the same district as an hermana I met in the CCM.
• Also we made some savage chicken pot pie from scratch using that raw tortilla strategy.

What the heck guys I'm 18 I promise

 Monday

Pday

Tuesday
New accutane shipment let's go. Taught a family from the DR and the lil kid thought I didn't speak English, also I had to explain what acne is to him.

Wednesday
Made a ton of peanut butter protein balls and took them to people. Visited a nice family, funny kids. It was like a comedy show almost they way they bounced jokes off each other. We did sidewalk chalk with the district then Mother Nature was like "No" and she poured rain.

Thursday
Water dripped through our window seals because of the heavy rain and we caught it all in Tupperware but it looked like coca cola. Tasted bad though.

Friday
Birthday. Lunch with Caridad, yummy flan. Dinner with the Zuñiga, pizza and cake. Also visited a uruguaya couple. I love them. Another rain charla at the laundromat. A great birthday. Sorry no time.

Saturday
We found some old pants and we ripped them all by doing some aggressive squats. Very nice.

Sunday
Gabriel is super ready to be baptized.

The work is going yolo mode.

cute little Zac

Zac just turned 19!  Here are a couple cute pictures I found of him.  5 years old in 2006.

Celebrating with Grandpa in 2004 as a 3 year old.

We watched family videos.  Zac was such a cute 2                                        year old!

Jerry is so cute honestly

What it do Mr. Magoo

Wednesday We had a super early lesson at 8 in the morning. Even though we were up and ready that whole time I was like "What time is it, what's going on, who is this person... hello? Other lessons and such.

Thursday We had district council, which was fun as always! We have good unity as a district, it's a good time. We had dinner at a member's house. The trio of sisters also came, so it was super fun! One of them leaves next Friday so it was nice for everyone to enjoy each other's company. Afterward, we headed over to our favorite laundromat. Our friend there is starting to open up more. She seems brighter and happier. She shared something with us that she read in the BoM, which was an interesting role switch. It was great. Afterwards she stabbed my companion in the chest and put him in a washer and just started a cycle. I just went home, hopefully he's ready by next week at the lastest.

Friday We had quite the adventure. We were attempting to get my companion's vote in to count as Wyoming... if that makes sense. They sent us to like 3 different buildings and we ended up at a UPS so we could get a notary boy. It was interesting. Then Waffle House to heal our hearts. It's not just the waffles. It's the people. They put a tracker in my companion's waffle and they followed us home and bagged his head with a walmart plastic sack in his sleep and I didn't wake up in time to save him. Boy am I burning through companions.

Saturday We found out a less active lives in a neighboring complex so we went over there and chatted for a bit, it was nice, he needed a visit. When we had to leave it was pretty convenient to say "Hey we have to go to this sports night thing but you can just meet us there." So he did. We also had Jesús brought his kids. Our friend Reynaldo came as well! It was super fun, Hna Rogers (the sister that leaves Friday) was there for her last one. We had a ton of investigators and members show up. Maybe 20ish total. So fun! Only half of us made it out alive. Air conditioning mustard gas prank, you know how it goes.

Sunday In the morning we went to talk with Gabriel. He's been through a ton. He's had COVID, and also is out of work because a pipe fell on top of his head and he's dealing with legal stuff right now. He's progressing well though. We had a member help out via video call. It went great! Then we headed over to see Caridad and Jesús. We had a super fun lunch! Beforehand, we taught the plan of salvation. A different member also helped via video call. Élder Sutton and I helped them cook traditional Peruvian food (mostly Élder Sutton because he was in Peru). Everything was super good! Ceviche, fried fish, seafood soup, rice and shrimp, and some purple corn cinnamon drink. Yummooo. Anyways it was so fun, they want to do something on my birthday. Also the Hna Alicia from Venezuela wants to make me a cake so that's super nice as well. I am turning gay years old this year.

 Bullet Beans

• So for during this time of video calling, I have been blessed to see our investigators faces in so many different flattering angles. I've seen their brain via the nasal canal. Half the time it's just their mouth. One of our friends has horrible vision so when he's trying to read he is like 2 inches away from the BoM, and in turn, just as close to the camera. Truly a beautiful some beautiful men we have the privilege of working with. Too bad I can't kiss em like my days in Uruguay.

• So this Jerry fella, he's a nice lil spider in our window sill. We presented him with a spider of similar size and they fought it out, Jerry won. Jerry is the champion. He is currently working on eating this big ol june bug. This is Jerry's world and we are just living in it. Also he might have died today but we hope not. Maybe he overdosed on june bug.

• Also sorry I'm not sure why everybody is just dying in this letter, I'm not sure what's happening.

• We have this problem where every single time we go out at night, we never make it home in time. Our ZLs are probably getting sick of our texts and calls haha but hey it's not our fault we're such savages.

Short Boy

 Good week for Zac!

New companion with better attention to complete obedience. They are both adjusting coming from an apartment full of elders to just the two of them, but this helps to be accountable to each other.
They are finally out teaching gospel lessons and English class and have some invitations to dinners this week - yeah!
He briefly mentions a miracle story about how different sets of elders were teaching a couple different people.  He got to go with his new companion to visit the woman but the other investigator opened the door as he was her husband - no one knew!  Now this couple will be taught together by one set of missionaries.  :)
* Kaleen *

My pday was Tuesday because we had a big multi zone zoom conference

Well basically

We had transfers

Elders Sime, Thompson, and Kelsey all left. Now our ward consists of 4 Elders and 5 Hermanas. The Elders don't live together though. I am with Elder Sutton from Wyoming. We were in the same district our first transfer here. He served in Peru. We already get along great and are making things happen.

So this week we have done a ton of contacting and teaching already. We are just going at it. Are 2 most promising investigators are a lady named Caridad and this other guy Jesús.

We have done some treat exchanges in our complex which is fun.

We had district council which was fun.

So on Saturday it was Caridad's birthday so we took her banana bread. Jesús answered the door... wait Jesús? So turns out they're married and we never knew.

We had a lesson late at night outside a laundromat in the rain so that was cool.

On Sunday we went to go drop off a Book of Mormon and found 2 less active guys that were brothers that lived with the dude we were originally coming to see so we taught them too. Another lil miracle.

Also Elder Johnson (buddy in the mission that I grew up with) is my ZL now which is cool.

So today my suitcases finally came after more than 4 months! It was pretty cool until I opened it up and a few of my most valuable items were gone. So along the way of getting here I got robbed so that is epic. That is also why this letter is short and lifeless jaja oops. This has actually been the busiest and one of my best weeks in Georgia too so sorry bout that y'all but I guess email me if you have any questions. Love y'all.

Whoever got into his suitcases took a nice thermos, his extra nice pair of shoes and several nice ties (floral ties and the one from the Mexico Temple trip).   They also randomly left a picture of a girl, a bracelet and a pair of earbuds).

Speed Letter

Monday
District activity with our Hermanas, we played pickleball and basketball. Also picklebasket but it's a waste of pickles and the baskets smell weird after.

Tuesday
I ate noodle.

Wednesday
We finally went shopping, Sime and Kelsey were in debt to me so I got a taste of the power because I didn't have to pay hardly any thing as a result of their foolishness. Later Sime ate a spoonful out of a bowl of garlic and oil and some other stuff, supposedly fish bait. We went out to eat at Wafflehouse and met up with a friend of Elder Kelsey who was driving through our area on a road trip. That night we had haircuts and dinner at the ward mission leader's home. While the other guys were getting their cuts, Thompson and I ZOOMED back home for the ice cream we were gonna bring. It was a great night!

Thursday
Went over to the really nice lady's house again from Venezuela. She calls us all sorts of pet names which is funny and sweet haha. She made a keto tres leches cake which was delicious. She is so amazing. The uruguayo that lives with her, we found out he lives there cause he got divorced not too long ago and needed a place to stay so that's nice. I loved hearing him talk and joking around with him. After dinner he showed me his mate, and insisted on giving me a kilo of yerba (the actual dried lil leaves) and then gave me a hug and I almost cried. Helped me with my homesickness to Uruguay haha. Another great night.

Friday
Zone Conference that lasted 6.5 hours. We had Zaxby's, and played Disney Scene-It after which was quite the violent flashback to my childhood. Unfortunately our district couldn't pull out a win. It's always great to hear from the President and his wife. That night we had an errand to run, then BFBs (big freaking burritos). Then some cards with the complex boys. We wanted to do all this in case transfers that are on Tuesday changes stuff around. Yes that's a foreshadow...

Saturday
We finally got to visit the uruguaya Hermana! We chatted with her and her husband, such a sweet couple. They've been members for 40 years! It was so fun. Then we went to our last sports night which unfortunately was also the gayest one. Nobody had energy. Cheers.

Sunday
I made Tongan Pie with Elder Sime, we had our regular Sunday stuff. Then a crazy night of transfer calls. So all 3 of my companions are leaving and I am staying. It will just be a house of 2 with my new companion Elder Sutton, we were in the same district last transfer and are already homies so I am excited!!! Also sad. Always bittersweet. I'll keep y'all updated. That night we went to the complex boys' place one last night. Then home for a lil sleepover in our tiny living room.

Bullet Beans
I have no beans to bullet. 😔 Have some fun facts instead.
• Never mind I have no fun facts to share.
• Oh this week I mushed a bug when I put on my shoe and since then I have turned into a cockroach.
• Oh I know, my mom made and sent us guys masks which have been amazing. I especially needed one because my medical mask... well I won't send a picture to spare y'all of the disgust but let's just say, a white medical mask on a face suffering through Accutane... there do be some blood on the inside of that boy.
