Back so soon? Yeah I know life's crazy

Everyone calm down please I'm just going to write this email real quick thank you.

Honestly not sure what to include, early Tuesday morning I got taken to the office to get settled in early so we could all help with the transfers. Basically this week has consisted of working at a computer, running around Montevideo, and putting together a thousand bikes for the missionaries. Also try and minister to both of the wards we are over :) We live in a pretty epic apartment building in the neighborhood of Malvín here in Montevideo so we have a very nice view of the city and the ocean. I am loving it! My new companion is élder Maldonado. We are living with 8 missionaries right now so the space is tight but it has been fun.

It seems like pretty soon we are going to be getting shot up with some vaccine stuff so that will be exciting. I am fascinated at the work pace and stress management we are able to achieve as a team and I know for sure I am going to learn a lot here.

I will now list my problems
- I still don't know where my filter water bottle is and I am the thirstiest man alive, I licked my hand and my tongue was so dry that I drew blood #life'scrazy. If any of you have seen it I would like it back so that I can return to my ways as the most hydrated man alive please and thank you.

That concludes my problems here is a list of good things
- One of the gentlemen I live with knows how to make peanut butter so looks like my US mission diet is back yeehaw.
- etc.

Also something that is pretty neat, as long I make sure I get my personal study done in the morning I am able to feel the Spirit all throughout the day. Even though the activities we have to do aren't always the most typically spiritual, and despite the high expectations, I can still feel the Spirit. Like the Lord says in this week's Come Follow Me, all the things are spiritual.\

So anyways please let me know about my water bottle I'm pretty thirsty right now thanks love you!

Love Elder Jerman

Oh also I am getting transferred I forgot to write that so it's the subject

We bought a new blender this week which has restored 50% of my diet, blended bananas and milk so that is a tender mercy if you ask me. My companion with the restored banana power roasted the zone for acting like young adults instead of missionaries it was epic to witness.

We visited a cute old member couple who I think must have forgotten that the word of wisdom existed because they kept offering tea and coffee but no worries we drank warm milk instead.

Oh also this week I tried to cut my companions hair but the machine I bought in the US hadn't ever been plugged in here and it blew up in my hand next to his head but luckily the exterior didn't break haha.

We did some service for small man child Dave we are teaching and chased some chickens around the yard to round them up.

One day it rained through our windows and almost completely pranked my scriptures which was the biggest scare of my life.

Ate some armadillo this week which was pretty good.

Also please help because I can't pronounce the following words. Fool, cool, pool. For example the cool fool jumped in the pool is humiliating to try and say.

This week I read my childhood favorite BoM story. The 2,000 Strippling Warriors. Their example of obedience and faith is very admirable and also the fact that they casually took down armies of Lamanites without losing a single life, an absolute yolo moment. My companion and I threw it way back and watched the animate story version.

Okay everybody gangnam style challenge first one to stop doing the gangnam style loses

Note - My pday is on Saturday now

Goodbye companion

No no please honestly I am just happy to be here but thank you

Weekly greetings have now extended personally to you.

We are teaching a very nice family, the 2 sons are members and we are teaching their little cousin aka Female Name #3 and the parents. The parents are working on getting married so they can get baptized with Female Name #3 but the process is an unepic one and a long one. Please pray for "Daphne and Al" which is what we will call them for now.

The sisters of the ward sometimes give us lots of bread, and in Georgia I cut bread from my diet like a savage but now it is my diet so this is a bruh moment.

Dave, the small male man we were teaching has flipped a one eighty but it's okay because his cousin, Female Name #2 is still interested in baptism.

We had an in person zone conference this week which we got to direct, it was absolutely epic. President roasted the disobedience that has been happening. It's fun to witness those types of things with a clear conscience. We were there like 8 hours it was wild.

One of the most wholesome nights of my life was when we had a family home evening with the cute family I mentioned. We brought them some food and ingredients and then made pizza and had some desserts and it turned out so very nice :) If there's somebody you know needing some food and you would like to feel the Spirit, help them out and you'll feel very nice afterwards. Also one of the sons somehow raps really well and my spirit left my body for a moment.

Our recent converts got light in their house this week which was such an amazing thing to witness it gave me such joy.

For some reason we were plagued by the smell of roadkill this week because everywhere we went some poor soul had been pranked by a car.

Today we got together as a zone at some mall and ate some McDonald's so that was pretty crazy. I enjoyed being with the Elders from my district but I did not enjoy having to be absorbed in worldly things.

This week I have been memorizing scriptures which has been a lot of fun and I thought I wasn't capable but apparently sometimes you just gotta say yolo and memorize an unreasonable amount of scriptures so if y'all wanna challenge me let's do this thing. But an honest suggestion if you have trouble keeping your mind virtuous, memorize a scripture to recite and it will help.

Goodbye to all and to all a good bye

Elder Jerman loves you

Working with urgency and an epic stanky leg

Currently I'm rocking a double blister, one on top of the other so that's pretty cool.

To finish last week a bit, church went well, most of the people we visit go which is a blessing. Sunday night I had to go to the capital for some documental stuff. We stayed in a nice apartment with a nice view.

So this week we have been teaching a lot. At the beginning of the week we let élder Muape say goodbye to people, then we had to say goodbye to him which was so sad, I love him and he was an incredible companion.

One day we walked like an hour and a half on the coast to pick up lunch from a member. They live next to some weird eagle monument #GodBlessAmerica.

I had the most confusing convo of my life, a drunk man after failing to successfully pronounce everything started humming very intensely so that was pretty cool.

We had a conference with all the leaders in the mission in person which was fun. Our chilean mission president and wife made us completos which is traditional chilean food. It was incredible, and made us realize how much more we could be and should be doing. So now after thinking we were already doing everything we are going at it with even more determination and faith. Also urgency because yolo.  Afterwards we helped 3 friends get on the covenant path towards baptism with a date.

Our fast and testimony meeting was the most surreal thing. After some incredible testimonies, a marriage we are teaching bore their testimony. The wife started, fainted halfway through, then after a few minutes stood back up and finished testifying. Then her husband testified as the members attender to her.

Last night I went to the capital again to finish the documents so now I'm licensed to live here. Something happened with the exposure on my license photo because it makes me look like the whitest man alive.

Anyways pretty epic stuff. Something cool as a missionary, and a spiritual gift I have worked on is being able to testify without fear. Before my mission I could have never looked anybody in the eyes and told them honestly "this is true, you need to do this, you need to stop this, your life will be better if you do this." Being able to teach with authority and without fear is a powerful experience.

I hope everybody has a nice week. I invited us all to meditate a question with me that I have been meditating. How much faith do I have? We all say we believe, but how much faith do we have? How to demonstrate it? How to develop it? How to test it? If we ask ourselves that question, we will find out. As we say here in Uruguay, toddle pip pip and chip chop cheerio. Nobody says that. Love you.

Love, Elder Jerman

Another Old Man

This has been an epic week.

We started it by receiving a new missionary. It will be my third companion in a row that is finishing his mission with me, because my current companion is going home this week and the one that came this week finishes in 6 weeks.

We watched Dave, the child we teach, beat some dogs with a rake. That night a different child literally beat us it was terrifying he scratched and hit us and he was only 4. A man we started teaching things I don´t understand things that are worldwide society stuff so that has been funny because he asks my companions to explain to me why it's dangerous at night. We celebrated my companion's birthday with some cookies (Elder Muape) and it was pretty fun. Ate some sauce that gave me garlic breath for like 8 hours which was a bruh moment. I ate like 7 mints what in the world honestly. We did service by ourselves because the Elders Quorum bailed but yolo. We taught a lesson with a drunk man who interrupted us every 2 minutes but at least he was funny.

I'll complete this letter next week.

My 4th trio since december
