Does anybody have a new face they could send me

Happy birthday if it's your birthday, whoever you are I love you.

Monday
We shopped and I tried another Southern classic, Bojangles. It was super good. They have these cinnamon biscuits that were WAY delicious. Then we tossed some eggs in a muffin pan and went to play pickleball which was a good time as always.

Tuesday
I'm starting to do better with exercising more early in the morning so we go running after we wake up. That has been great. We had interviews with our new mission president which was great! I got a package from my family with some snacks which should last me a really long time because I never snack so I'm excited about that jaja. Then we played some Magic, Thompson has been converting Elder Kelsey so us 3 have been playing. Then we played some cards with the complex boys.

Wednesday
Ran a couple miles in the morning and then accidentally fell back asleep when we got home but don't tell anybody hehe. Elder Thompson and I made an up and coming signature dish of ours "Loaded Potato of the Gods." That night we went to the baptism of our friend Angel. He got there like an hour and a half late but other than that it was good. His confirmation took a while as well because he cried for like 15 minutes. Only cause I made him laugh so hard. No kidding that guy was FEELING it. Then there were refreshments after. So let's just say we got home late haha. Oh we also cleaned our bathroom that's always super cool hang loose guys

Thursday
Okay we run every morning now so that feels great. This day was great. It all started by almost dying when I ate the oatmeal leftovers from a couple days prior but I underestimated how much there was and I had to pack it into my stomach like was using a fruit mushing machine thing, my mom knows. My grandma too. And other makers of jam. Then we went to a members house for dinner. She made us some Venezuelan food cause that's where her family is from. Another member lives in their house. An older Uruguayo man. It was so fun to speak with an Uruguayo again! To make things crazier, he knew somebody that used to live in the area that I served in while in Uruguay, and to make things even crazier it was the branch president that got released a month before I got there! So we talked about all the people that we knew, cause of course he knew everybody. It was awesome! Dinner was great, and we gave a blessing to the mom who has heart problems. It was my first blessing in Spanish which was a cool experience. I started speaking German halfway through but I guess that's what happens when you speak 7 languages fluently. Also the lady was so generous. She's like a health genius, she lost like 100 lbs in 9 months. She sent us home with some non sugar sweetener and she also happens to work in dermatology so she sent me home with 3 different products to help maintain my acne better while Accutane does it's work. She knew which products would work best with Accutane too. She must took one look at me and gone "This kid needs help"

Friday
We did more service in the yard that was CRAZY cool. Always fun! I found a pretty flower that reminded me of my mom, she would have liked the flower even more than I did :) Then we made an emergency run to Walmart for ingredients for dinner. On our way home I suggested that we go to a Mexican restaurant and those sheeps didn't say a thing. No but it was super fun, and really tasty.

Saturday
I slept like 3 hours so that was super epic. We had sports night which went great! We found Elder Kelsey's jacket that he's been looking for for a couple of weeks so thag was a victory for everybody.

Sunday
Had our usual Sunday stuff, for church we split the Plan of Salvation into different parts for each companionship to explain and it went great! When it came to our turn, freaking Elder Kelsey started dying laughing so in turn I started dying laughing. I hid behind Elder Sime while I tried to control myself. I just slid my Book of Mormon to Elder Thompson so I could gather my bearings while he read. After that it went fine, it was just one of those times haha. I'm mature I promise.

Bullet Beans
• This week, our taco meal transformed into a chimichangas of sorts. Honestly we amaze ourselves. We keep saying there's no way we do better the next week but then we DO.
• Hey so I'm getting freaking pranked because my bags aren't here yet. I've gone 4 months without them and never complained once but I wish they wouldn't have told me my bags were coming back because now that they're supposed to be here and they're not and it's been like 3 weeks and now I'm getting   a n x i o u s. Yolo.
• So APPARENTLY, while on the freeway, I was not driving into a carpool lane and it was in fact a lane that required a PASS. It looked cool and I wanted to go and I did. Yolo. Worth it. There was a camera like every ¼ a mile so if I write my next email from the gulag you all know what happened to me.

Yo why hasn't my toast popped up ye- WHY IS IT MAXED OUT

Ah hahaaaaaa

Monday
We met our complex boys over at the park for some pickleball. We made friends with all the senior athletes who were absolute gods at the game. I have never seen such efficiency with so little movement. Then we got some Little Caesar's. We didn't go shopping because our cards hadn't refilled yet so I made some rice and beans for the boys that night. We got some frostys afterwards. Cheers.

Tuesday
District council then we did our grocery trip. That night we visited a member family as we continued to get to know the young men in the ward. They fed us Popeye's and donuts, my first time trying both. Good stuff. I showed Thompson the movie Charly which he was really enjoying and he made a joke about her dying and I didn't know what to say because 20 minutes later she died.

Wednesday
We did some service in a beautiful yard. Like it is something my brain might not have been able to imagine even if it was described to me. We burned the whole place down. Actually probably not the best joke to make here because the lady that lived there lost the house as well as her husband and dog in a fire. Anyways next question please. After a couple hours of good manual labor we got a call telling us a couple missionaries in our zone got coronafied, therefore quarantining us strictly. So we had to bounce.

Thursday
We made an enormous pot of oatmeal.

Friday
I ate a sandwich.

Saturday
We were given permission to go do outdoor service with a mask so we stayed home. No we actually were able to do some service which was great. They bought us pizza which was much appreciated. We repaid them by going home. We went over to play cards with the complex boys.

Sunday
Well I know sometimes it's better to not clean on a Sunday, but it all started when I picked up a mug from the counter and it had milk in it. Milk that had turned into a disc of thick sour cream. I said "Hey what the hecky decky." And then threw my head back and downed it in less than a second. 2 hours later the apartment was cleaner than it has been since it was built in 1892. The same year Joseph Smith was born. There is some perspective from you. (Please don't listen to me) I used to fall into a deep depression because of the mess every time I stepped out of the clean oasis that is our bedroom. Now, I am just regular depressed when I step out of the room. #ProudToBeAnAmericanWhereAtLeastIKnowI'mFreeAndIwon'tForgetTheMenWhoDiedWhoGaveThatRightToMeAndI'llProudlyStandUpNextToYouAndDefendHerStillTodayCauseThereAin'tNoDoubtILoveThisLandGodBlessTheUSA
Then we had our first Pastaroni feast in a couple of weeks. Then some cards.

Bullet Beans
• One night I slept on the carpet. Underneath my bed. I liked doing it and I won't apologize. Because I'm #ProudToBeAnAmer-
• This weeks tacodilla night was absolutely smashing. We perfected our sauce/glaze and the vegetables were immaculate. The sour cream really pulls it out together. How does it feel knowing that I eat better than you while living off a missionary budget.
• So on my first week of my double dosage of Accutane, I was bamboozled. I thought "Perhaps my skin has adjusted to the medication and won't very dry anymore" because that first week was nothing. We are back to having a white goatee of dried skin. Enjoy that information.
• Oh yo I finally went to Waffle House. It was very good. I tried grits. They were good as well. Good. Overall impression was good. I hated every second of it. Good.
• Thursday and Friday were some of the favorite days of my mission.
• I made a very good loaded potato type meal. It gave me joy upon eating it.

Not gonna lie I might have to get a ghostwriter for these letters because my motivation to write is 0

Monday
Another week of sand volleyball, this time with rain. It was pretty fun! I threw a ball to a cute dog so that was cool. Then after 2 weeks in a row playing sand volleyball we needed a good car vacuuming.

Tuesday
District Council featuring no bake cookies. That night we took a nice long jog after a rain storm, so it was nice and cool but we still finished drenched in sweat. I guess it's that Northwestern humidity or wherever the freak I am. Then some cards with the complex boys

Wednesday
Had my monthly check up for Accutane. The results came back, not only am I dying but I guess I'm gay too so that's a double whammie. No but they doubled my dosage so now I have even more overdosing potential. We visited a less active youth in the ward, same one and last week. Cool kid. Then we met some dude in the park to deliver a free bible but then also slid in a Book of Mormon real smooth like. He noticed and pulled a gun on us. Shot my companion dead. Poor guy.

Thursday
Multi Zone Conference to meet the new mission president, jokes on everyone else cause we're already homies. Lowkey thought his wife was a regular sister missionary but don't tell him that. They both talked to us and as well as their daughters, nice family. Then we baked some eggs in a muffin pan. Then the Burmese boys came over that night for card. I lost the most intense game of Uno ever and now I owe each one of those gentlemen one of my offspring. Fair enough.

Friday
I got out of bed and then I got back into bed. I don't know what happened in between...

Saturday
Made some savage waffles that Elder Sime had to force feed me the last few bites because I was so full. Then we had a car wash with some other missionaries which was fun! I snuck in line but then I felt bad but it was too late. Then we had our sports night which went really well, we had some people we invited show up!

Sunday
Pretty routine Sunday, zoom calls, gassing other apartments, calling members. Basic stuff.

Bullet Beans
• I learned how to solve a rubik's cube one night. My IQ just doubled.
• So apparently my luggage is coming back. I will cry. My mate. My everything. I've been strong for too long. I mean I was pretty much just set on the fact that they were just gonna wait for me to come back and get it jaja.
• So I was telling my mom about the carwash and she was like "Oo fun send me pictures" then I realized ¾ of my camera roll is just food I make so oops.
• This week our water pressure was diminished to a depressing amount. A few days later a guy fixed it, the end.

What the heck is even that

Monday
So this morning we were able to get together for some district volleyball! It was so fun! My dermatologist said I need to wear sunscreen if I'll be in the sun for a while. So I did but it was hard to rub in, so I kinda just vibes with the white dad look. Then the sun same down with unbridled power and melted the sunscreen off my face, and it melted and soaked into my dry face so it ended up getting red, irritated and itchy. Volleyball was fun though. Then for some reason I had the biggest munchies the whole day. I could have consumed worlds. I ate everything in my path. Thag night we had a lil zone meeting and played volleyball after. Then I continued to devour anything that caught my eye. Maybe I'm pregnant I dunno.

Tuesday
We had district council which was fun. Our new district consists of our house, 3 Spanish Hermanas and 2 English. I mean it's hard to beat a district of 8 Elders and district council in a living room but we'll see how they do. Then as we were leaving (our church building is the one with the mission office attached) we ran into our mission president! Our new boy. He was really nice and sincere, he even pulled me in a for a surprise interview and told me I'm getting fired. No we just chatted for a bit, it was really cool! I'm excited to work with him!

Wednesday
I made some amazing grilled cheese sandwiches. Like amazing. As my buddy Jake would say, sandwiches of destiny. Then later I made some rice. So yeah a pretty crazy day, I know I know.

Thursday
We literally drove all morning. Elder Sime had to get an x-ray so we drove to the clinic like 15 minutes away, but then we had to fill out a form so we drove to the nearest computer like 30 minutes away, then waited for an hour, then drove back to the clinic, then waited an hour, then drove to the nearest Panda Express like 59 seconds away, then drove home 15 minutes. By that time it was already 7:30 in the morning! Then I ran around in a circle until bedtime.

Friday
Made some german pancakes. Our bishop wants us to contact and visit all the young men so we are starting to work on that. We visited a less active kid who was really cool, we'll visit them again week. Then we had dinner at the ward mission leaders house, and the Hermana cut Elder Kelsey's hair. Always so fun!

Saturday
For the 4th of July, we had a zone meeting, after we played volleyball and basketball. There's this kid in our zone that's like 6'3 and 240 at least. A pure athlete, he's got like a 50 inch vertical it seems. So yeah anyways it's me. When we got home I made those legendary quesadillas again, then we met up with the missionaries in our complex to watch fireworks and do sparklers. People were lighting off fireworks in the complex. One guy with a beer in his hand took the high ground of the playground and started setting off some, and then they fell over and launched right at us. I jumped on top of one and absorbed the blow, as another came at us I tackled the other missionaries out of the way, then I apprehended the man responsible. An American hero. Him and I both.

Sunday
We had our regular Sunday stuff, then we visited another young man in the ward. It was a really cool family! Nice.

Bullet Beans
• This has been the week people say Accutane tries to kill you. At different times in the week, it has looked as if I have a white goatee, but in reality it's just dry skin just chilling. Gotta keep on that grind though.
• Elder Kelsey made some really good meatballs for the house, which was the first time somebody else has made food for the house so it was nice.
• As we were driving home, I was passing through the intersection and ahead of me I see kids like 40 feet past the crosswalk. I was like they're not really about to try and cross are they? I'm going like 50 miles per hour. Well they started to cross, those absolute j-walkers. They stared me down as I slowed and came to a stop. Absolute power move, I've never respected anybody more. Cheers to those mad lads.
• After a meal, there was some warm syrup left over, and we didn't want to try and put it back in the bottle. So we said "Hey Elder Thompson you should drink that it would be so cool, it's only like  ¼  cup." He picked up the cup, we began chanting, giving him power. He put the cup to his lips. The crowd feel silent as we watched in disbelief. The warm syrup was emptied from the cup and a defeaning roar could be heard from the stands. Nothing had ever been done with such pride and daring confidence. He truly is the next dragon warrior.
